Clothe the cold across Virginia.
Share the warmth of Christ.
This winter, hundreds of our neighbors in Richmond, Fredericksburg, and beyond will sleep without shelter. Our goal: 1,000 winter weather kits by November 21, delivered with the Gospel on November 28.
Every Saturday we pray for strangers on the streets. This winter, we’re bringing warmth too.
Warmth of Christ is an outreach of Harvesters, a group that meets weekly to pray for and share the name of Jesus with people on the streets of Richmond. See how a kit comes together and where it goes.
We will serve and love Jesus by loving the least of these (Matthew 25:40) through the distribution of donated winter weather gear kits to share the warmth of Christ to clothe the cold and share the Gospel.
That those in need will meet Jesus in having their needs met.
And that Christ followers would be strengthened in fervent spirit as we fulfill the great commission in unified body.
“Lord, when did we see you hungry, and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?”
“Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.”
